Autoimmune Hemolytic Anaemia Medical ID Jewellery
What is Autoimmune Haemolytic Anaemia?
Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (AIHA) is a rare blood condition / immune disorder that occurs when the body produces antibodies that destroys red blood cells.
When you have anaemia this means that your bone marrow doesn't make enough red blood cells or those cells don't work as well as they should. With AIHA your body's immune systems attacks and destroys the red blood cells faster than your bone marrow can make new ones.
Wearing a medical alert ID if you or someone you love has anaemia is a daily necessity, ensuring medical responders can quickly identify and provide the correct care in an emergency.
We recommend adding your name, diagnosis(es), medications, any allergies and In Case of Emergency contact numbers (ICE).
